What is the Rufus C. Harris Collection?

This collection consists of a small body of materials (13 items) collected by Professor Harris and given to the Law School in 1936. He had been Dean of the Law School from 1927 until 1937, when he became President of Tulane University, a position held until 1960.
The majority of item in this collection concerns the American Association of Law Schools (AALS) Annual Meeting which was held in New Orleans in December of 1935, with Professor Harris as AALS president. Rufus C. Harris Collection Index
