Aspen / Eduroam Access Issue Workarounds
Answer
Unfortunately, there may be an issue with accessing Aspen study aids on your laptop while you are on-campus connected to the eduroam network. We are so sorry for the inconvenience!
There are several workarounds:
1. You can access these study aids while you are on-campus connected to eduroam, if you are using an iPad or cell phone (rather than a laptop).
- You must use the Safari browser and have 'Prevent Cross-Site Tracking' disabled.
- Go to Safari's settings, scroll down to the Privacy & Security section, and untoggle 'Prevent Cross-Site Tracking'.
2. You can access these study aids on your laptop if you are on a non-eduroam network (e.g., your home's network, a coffee shop's wifi).
3. You can access these study aids if you login to a desktop computer in the 4th floor computer lab.
4. Download the Aspen app and add ebooks to your Bookshelf so you can read them without using the internet/wifi.
