Can I talk in the Law Library?

Answer

In order to make a conducive study space for all, talking in the Law Library depends on which zone you are in:

  • Silent Zone – third floor Reading Room – absolutely no talking

  • Quiet Zone – third floor carrels and fifth floor – occasional talking permitted (low speaking voices only)

  • Collaborative Zone – study rooms, fourth floor, sixth floor – conversation permitted (no raised voices)
